The only tribute to the Man in Black endorsed by his family – the Johnny Cash Roadshow will be in Carlisle later this month.
The Johnny Cash Roadshow – From the Ashes returns after a year’s hiatus and the new, updated show features the legendary June Carter (Meghan Thomas), the Roadshow Horns, and (on selected shows) the Carter Sisters.
It will take centre stage at the city’s Sands Centre on Friday, October 21.
Along with favourites such as Walk the Line, Ring of Fire, Get Rhythm, Orange Blossom Special and A Boy Named Sue, the show digs deeper into the Cash catalogue to bring you songs from his acclaimed American Recordings (The Man Comes Around, Hurt) and other rarities and surprises.
This year’s roadshow is an exciting and emotional journey through Cash’s entire career and a fantastic evening’s entertainment.
