Keswick Ladies first team proved too strong for Kendal Ladies 2nds with a 5-0 win.
The home side were full of running from the start and attacked in waves against their younger opponents.
The pressure seemed to have been rewarded after 10 minutes when a shot from Rosie Lawler resulted in a penalty corner.
Although nothing came from this, the pressure never relented from then on in the Kendal half.
Keswick were awarded another penalty corner after 12 minutes which led to the award of a penalty flick, rather surprisingly missed by Gayle Fennell.
There was still no let-up for Kendal, however, as Keswick kept up the pressure and were awarded three penalty corners in rapid succession on 18 minutes.

The same happened after 20 minutes, but this time the third corner led to a goal from Emily Heron-Southward.
On 30 minutes a pass from the right side of the D found Lawler in space, and she beat the goalkeeper to score the second goal just inside the left post.
It was Lawler who stepped forward on 32 minutes to take the second penalty flick awarded to Keswick, and she made no mistake.
Although trailing 3-0 at the break the second half saw a better performance from the visitors.
However it was Fennell who made up for her earlier miss by scoring the fourth Keswick goal after five minutes of the half.

On 12 minutes Kendal thought they had scored when Jenny Fellows had the ball in the Keswick net, only for it to be ruled out due to it hitting a Kendal foot in the build-up.
Keswick were awarded another short corner on 15 minutes, only for the ball to be cleared. That sparked a Kendal counter attack and only an alert Heather Ingram in the Keswick goal denied Fellows.
Keswick made it 5-0 after 19 minutes as Emily Wildig hit a first time shot from just inside the D past the Kendal keeper to complete the scoring.
