An 18-year-old who was killed in a collision near Kendal has been named.
Tom Allan, of Killington died in the early hours of Sunday. His Ford Fiesta was found off Gatebeck Road in Endmoor and he died at the scene.
In tribute Tom’s dad Gary, Mum Jane and beloved sister Abbie said: “Tom was the gentlest of giants and man of few words.
“A kind and quiet young man, there was not a nasty bone in his body, he would simply do anything for anyone.
“His smile and contagious laugh would just brighten up everyone’s day.
“Bright and talented in everything from his work as a steel fabricator to representing England in Tug of War. His abilities really were endless.
“Tom was loved by so many and will be forever missed.”
