Workington Town have re-signed Ethan Bickerdike a utility back who first signed for the Derwent Park club in November 2020.
Originally he had come on trial from his amateur club Millom and impressed former coach Chris Thorman so much he handed him a two-year deal.
He had a solid grounding in the community game and represented Cumbria at under-16’s, 17’s and 19’s levels.
When he joined Town he was regarded as one of the brightest young talents in the game.
His progress at Town has been limited by injuries but he is hoping to be fit and firing for the start of pre-season training in November under new coach Anthony Murray.
The 22-year-old is yet another county-based player to join Murray’s squad at Derwent Park as they prepare for life back in League One.
