Mike Rymchuk caught the partial solar eclipse this morning from Penrith.
Mike was on the Gilwilly Industrial Estate at around 10.45am when he took this stunning image.
It is the only solar eclipse taking place this year and began in London at 10.08am.

David Whalley, of Prospect, took this picture by holding a welding lens in front of the camera. He said: “The ghosting in my image is caused by light bouncing inside the thick glass of the welding lens.
“I have travelled around the world to see a total solar eclipse, today of course was just a partial eclipse. I was in Chile in 2019 for an eclipse and will be in Australia next April for my ninth total eclipse, I am known as an eclipse chaser.”
It should be visible until around noon and people are reminded not to look directly into the sun.
