CCTV images released after Carlisle assault

CCTV images have been released after a man was attacked in the early hours of Sunday.

The assault took place on Lowther Street, Carlisle, at the end of Earls Lane at about 1.55am – before the clocks went back an hour.

It was reported to police that a man in his 20s was attacked by two other men.

The victim received injuries including a broken hand and nose, cuts and bruises.

Police would like to identify and speak to the men pictured as part of their enquiries.

The two men pictured, were later seen on Peter Street and Corporation Road at about 1:20am – after the clocks went back.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cumbria police via www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it or call 101.

To report information completely anonymously contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Include the incident reference, log 27 of the 30th of October with any information reported.
