Carlisle Beer Festival, due to take place next week, has been cancelled.
Organisers said it was due to circumstances beyond their control and apologised for the late notice.
The 30th festival was due to take place from November 10 to November 12 at The Venue in Portland Place.
In a post on Facebook, organisers said: “We can only apologise for the late notice, but we have only just been informed by The Venue.
“After all the work we have put into it, we are, to put it mildly, very disappointed!
“We hope to organise another festival at some future date. If anyone can help with a venue for that, please contact us.”
