A man has been arrested after a car was spotted driving dangerously on the M6.
The blue Ford Focus was spotted travelling at high speed, tailgating other road users and undertaking on the hard shoulder between Lancaster and Crooklands on Friday from11.30am and 12.10pm.
It happened between junctions 34 and 36.
The car, registration GL54UVY was stopped, and the 45-year-old driver from Glasgow was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and dangerous driving. He has since been released on police bail while officers continue with their enquiries.
Officers are looking to hear from anyone who has dash camera footage of the driving or has witnessed the driving.
