
A man has been charged with burglary after a West Cumbrian shop was raided in the early hours.
Police were contacted at around 3.45am on Thursday, November 17 with the report of a burglary at a shop on Murray Road, Workington.
James Thompson, 42, of no fixed address, has been charged with burglary. He is to appear at Carlisle Magistrates Court today, November 18.
Officers are continuing to appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.
