Wigton Motor Club has handed over £2,000 to its nominated charities for 2022.
Blood Bikes Cumbria and Hospice at Home West Cumbria were given £1,000 each from the club and the cash was raised from the annual Drive It Day and rounded up from other events.
Club vice president Ron Palmer handed over the cheque to Tony Rutherford, of Blood Bikes Cumbria, and committee member John Sloan presented Joanne Bowe, of Hospice at Home West Cumbria, with their donations.

A club spokesman said: “The club supported different local charities each year with Drive It Day and collections at their other events. Both Blood Bikes and Hospice and Home do vital work for our communities.”
The presentation took place at the final Cars and Coffee meet of the year at the Motor House.
