Upper Eden’s continued good form has been recognised by the RFU with an award for November.
The Counties 1 Cumbria League leaders, and unbeaten champions last season, have won one of the Team of the Month awards handed out by England Rugby.
In November they won all three games with a points differential of 158 and were one of eight clubs selected for the monthly accolade.
It’s the second time that Upper Eden have received such an award, picking up the nomination for September in their triumphant, 100 per cent 2021/22 season.
Club chairman Neil Marston said: “Being recognised as Team of the Month by the RFU is just reward for the players, coaches and back-room volunteers involved at the club.
“The squad epitomises team work and they are all a credit to our club.”
Also picking-up November awards were Blackheath, Camberley, Walsall, New Milton, Crediton, Sutton and Epsom Ladies and Barnes Women.
