
A woman in her 70s has been taken to hospital after she was involved in a collision with a car in a West Cumbrian town.
The woman, who was walking on Egremont’s Main Street, has been taken to the Royal Preston Hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The collision happened at around 11.10am today, December 7, and the road was closed between Ehen Court Road and South Street while emergency services were at the scene.
The road has now reopened.
