Kendal Town are champing at the bit to get back into action after a run of postponements.
But the Mintcakes will have to wait that little bit longer to resume as their festive game is tomorrow afternoon at home to Longridge Town (ko 3pm).
Jimmy Marshall’s side had been on a good unbeaten run until going down at Avro 1-0 in their last game but have climbed to 15th with two or three games in hand of the majority of clubs ahead of them.
Longridge are fourth bottom seven points behind the south Cumbrians from the same number of games.
Kendal chairman Michael O’Neill said: “We have the scene virtually to ourselves on Tuesday with the vast majority of games today so we hope that will be reflected in a bumper crowd.
“The run of postponements have created a cash flow problem at our level after we had done so much hard work to clear our debt. That’s why we were looking for a good response to our Christmas raffle and for a good crowd on Tuesday.”
