Barrow boss Pete Wild felt his side didn’t get what they deserved from their game with Tranmere.
Rovers won 2-1, scoring their goals from the only two chances they created in the whole game.
“We dominated the game from start to finish but it was their finishing ability which won the game 100 per cent.
“We had chances ourselves but apart from Jordan Stevens’ fine finish we couldn’t take them.
“I was also annoyed with the way we conceded the opening goal which put us behind early in the game. We have to be better than that.
“Overall though 35 points from the opening half of the season is not bad so it’s not all doom and gloom.
“We have to look now and see if we can strengthen in areas we have identified during the January transfer window.
“It’s only a few days rest and then we go on Monday at home to Rochdale and we have to be sure we are up and ready to go and give ourselves a good start to the New Year,” said Wild.
