Reigning HRA senior champion Silver Dream took another stride towards a third successive title when she won last night at Wardhall.
She only had three rivals in the opening race and going past the field Silver Dream she had already established a lead over Zoya with another gap back to Thorn Soul.
Coming over the final road crossing and heading up the finish Silver Dream went on to win easily from Zoya and Thorn Soul with Lucky Breeze also getting round back in fourth.
The Pups had nine competing and after two minutes racing Thorn Daisy was leading nicely and had opened up a lead on the chasers.
However, going past the field Cinderella was now leading from Fable and Silver Girl.
But how things can change. Coming out of the dip and towards the last road Cinderella and Thorn Daisy were neck and neck.
However onto the finish Cinderella had gained the advantage and she went on to win with a few lengths to spare on Thorn Daisy with Silver Girl in third.
The Open Maidens had a line-up of 13 and going past the field Foxparke Dealer was leading from Croft Lass, and Foxparke Elliot’s Lad.
Onto the finish a group of 10 was still being led by Foxparke Dealer and Croft Lass but the pair had been joined by Thorn Pop.
On the run in to the line Stanley, Carole and Sarah Jackson, David Loan, Ricky Deacon and Donald Hodgson’s Croft Lass finished well to beat Thorn Pop with Thorn Heart in third.
The final race was for the Open Restricted with four taking part and once on their way going past the field I Am It had gained the lead from Foxparke Sassy Girl.
Going past the field with roughly eight minutes racing left I Am It was still leading and still had an advantage but this time over Malfunction.
Crossing the final road I Am It was still leading and looked as though he was going to see it through but was denied the win in the final stages by Robyn, Ellie, Grace and Nicola Napier and Brooke Butler’s fast finishing Foxparke Sassy Girl with the veteran Miterdale Duchess in third.
