Comets Promoter Andrew Bain said, “I am delighted to have Luke on board as we start our exciting new season.

“He will start the season as a reserve but I believe he has the potential to move into the main body of the team before the season ends.

“At just fifteen years old, he is the most exciting prospect of his age.”

Harrison claimed the 2022 250cc class title by a clear 10 points, despite missing the final round due to National League commitments with Mildenhall.

He made a small number of late season guest appearances for the Fen Tigers, figuring prominently especially in the play off semi-finals against Berwick where he raced to a heat win in his very first race at this level, coming from third place to overcome the home pair.
