The driver killed in a collision on the A595 has been named.

Stephen Pape, 44, of Wigton, was driving a silver Honda Civic when it left the road at Crofton on the A595 on Monday at about 5.20pm.

The family of Mr Pape said he was a very loving dad and much loved son and brother.

Police said they would like to thank the people who have assisted with the investigation into the crash and are continuing to request that anyone who saw what happened or the moments leading up to it gets in touch.
