Ten fire crews tackled a major Maryport blaze in the early hours.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service was called out at around 2.50am to The Bakehouse on Senhouse Street.
Upon arrival, the building was well alight and had spread to all four floors of the property.
A fire service spokesman said: “At the height of the incident, 10 fire engines and several specialist vehicles from Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene working alongside Cumbria police, North West Ambulance Service, local authority and United Utilities to bring the incident under control.”
There are no reported casualties and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

The fire service and Cumbria police will now begin a full fire investigation process.
The building is set to be demolished overnight to make it safe.

Road closures are currently in place on Curzon Street and Senhouse Street in Maryport with diversions in place.

Fire crews will remain on scene throughout today.

People are asked to avoid the area.
