Promoter Danny Maudling said: “We’re very much looking forward to this year’s Boof festival, which promises to be a brilliant weekend of music.
“We’re incorporating festival favourites from the last 17 years of promoting the Boof and you can expect what the Boof has always brought the perfect mix of headline and household names backed up with the best up and coming local talent, as it is our last one for now it will be one to remember.

“The View and Cast have put brilliant shows on for us in the past and we can’t wait to welcome them back.”
Danny explained why this Boof will be the last. He said: “I think the time is right for the Boof as a festival to go on ice for now, they always say you know when it’s time, and it is time.”
“We have had some fantastic times doing the regular Boof festivals and that won’t stop for our team as we are now bringing you Whitehaven Alive along with Oliver Hodgson, we form The Alive Entertainment Group.”
Danny continued: “The past 17 years has been better than I could have ever imagined it would be doing The Boof we have had ups and downs along the way, but I wouldn’t change it for the world, it’s been an amazing journey and that isn’t ending, just evolving all the time.”
