More mysterious lights have been spotted in Cumbria’s skies.
But this time – similar lights have been spotted elsewhere in the country too.
The individual who spotted the lights in Cumbria said he saw them coming from the direction of Longtown, near Carlisle, aiming to the South last Tuesday February 21.
He spotted the lights at around 6.45pm while he was the passenger in a car driving on a main road.
In the video, the lights appear to flash across the sky as horizontal lines in formation. They also appear to be white or blue in colour.
Just this week, the Independent reported similar lights spotted in London on Monday 27 February in the evening.
In the video it posted, the lights appear to flicker in lines across the sky in a similar way to those spotted in Cumbria.
While the outlet confirmed the lights were not the result of the aurora borealis which graced skies across the UK this week – it did not give any further explanation as to what the lights might be.
The Cumbrian video also comes just weeks after different strange lights were spotted in Cockermouth.
