Cumbria’s teams in the North West Counties League missed-out on mid-week action last night.
The sudden return of snow and heavy rain meant the North Division derby clash between Holker Old Boys and Cleator Moor Celtic was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
In the Premier League Kendal Town should have travelled to Padiham but that was also called-off because of the state of the pitch.
Kendal return to League action on Saturday with a home game against Squire’s Gate while in Division One North Holker OB entertain Chadderton while Celtic travel to Ilkley.
