A Carlisle business has been featured in Coutts Bank’s International Women’s Day and benefit corporation month display in London.

Attraction and retention specialists Just R – Carlisle’s first BCorp certified business – were selected to be featured on a billboard in the window of Coutts HQ on the Strand in the capital city.

Some well known B Corps include Ben & Jerry’s, Patagonia and The Body Shop.

CEO and founder, Rachael Bagshaw said: “it’s a real honour to be featured amongst brilliant female led BCorps the likes of Holly & Co, Emma Bridgewater and Ooni on the Coutts display ad, the goal of the team now is to one day have our own ad of equal prominence!”

The campaign celebrates female leaders within the BCorp community, with just 23 per cent of the 1,000 plus B Corporations in the UK being female-led.

B Corp’s are businesses that have undergone a certification process which meet high standards of verified performance, accountability and transparency on factors from employee benefits to environmental impact.

Just R develop and deliver sustainable workforce solutions which support healthcare recruitment efforts in order to future-proof the outlook of healthcare workforces across the UK.

With an 85 per cent female workforce, the team is fast-growing and driven to generating jobs in marketing, brand and communications for people both within the local area and further afield willing to relocate.

Just R became B Corp certified in December 2021. CEO Rachael wanted to undertake the certification to place the firm amongst like-minded businesses looking to create a positive impact, putting people before profit.
