Penrith Canoe Club attended their second tournament for the Regional Division 2 league on Saturday.

The team played really well and managed to win two out for the four games they played. The first game was against Friends of Allonby D and the team lost 4 -1, with Dan Farley scoring a cracking first goal of the tournament.

The next game was against Pennine who sit just above Penrith in the league table. The game was a tough one with Penrith scoring two goals from Thomas Nelson and again Dan Farley. However, Pennine managed to score two more goals and won 4 – 2.

The third game against Trentham was another tough one but the team managed to win the game 3-1, with goals from Cameron and Jethro.  The last game of the day was against Wildcats C team.

The game was an exciting one with goals from Chris, Cameron, Noah and Jethro, making the final score 7-1 to Penrith. Overall it was a great day with the team looking forward to the final tournament on March 25 at the docks in Liverpool.
