CCTV released after £100 stolen from Cumbrian church

CCTV released by police

Police have released a CCTV image as part of an investigation into the theft of money from a church donation box in Crosby Ravensworth.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured in this footage as part of their enquiries.

Approximately £100 was stolen during the incident which occurred at St Lawrence’s Church, Silver Street, on March 17.

Officers would like the person pictured to contact them or to hear from members of the public who can identify him.

Anyone with information can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk, quoting incident number 157 of 17 March. You can also phone on 101.

Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
