Two games in Holmen Iggesund Cumberland ARL postponed

Two games planned for tonight in the Holmen Iggesund Cumberland ARL have been postponed.

Seaton Rangers A are unable to field a team for their game at Egremont A.

After heavy rain during the week the Hensingham pitch has been declared unplayable so their A team game with Glasson Rangers has been called off.

It’s the second time so far that Seaton have had to call off an A team game. The club, whose first team play in the National Conference, lost five players during the winter after they turned professional at Workington Town.
It’s also the second time that Hensingham have had to call-off a home game because of ground conditions.

Last month it was their National Conference Third Division game with Seaton Rangers which had to be postponed.

Only one game will go ahead tonight in the Cumberland ARL – Kells A v Ellenborough A but there are two tomorrow – Cockermouth v Wath Brow A and Distington v Lowca.
