Inter-squad game coming up for Cumbria

Cumbria county have organised an inter-squad game for Wednesday at Penrith with a good mix of regulars and hopefuls.

County captain Michael Slack of Carlisle will captain Team A with his Edenside team-mate Ben Davidson leading Team B.

Although the County T20 fixtures have been completed, that will be the format for the game as it is going to be played in the evening with a 6pm start.

Several members of both teams play their cricket outside the county with four of them in Team B, including teenage paceman Regan Jackson who has moved to Gateshead Fell from Workington this season.

Team A is: Michael Slack (Carlisle), Matthew Sempill (Cockermouth), Finlay Richardson (Kendal, wk), Marcus Stables (Nantwich), Ben Walkden (Newton-le-Willows), Nathan Waterston (Furness), Sam Sharp (Cockermouth), Nico Watt (Carlisle), Toby Tyson (Kendal), Matthew Siddall (Cockermouth), Declan Tyson (Millom).

Team B is: Ben Davidson (Carlisle), Evan Williams (Greenmount), James Bowman (Penrith), Alister Craig (Penrith, wk), Brodie Glendinning (Newcastle), Josh Stirling (Carlisle), Josh Brown (Cockermouth), Louis Backhouse (Netherfield), Josh Wills (Torrisholme), George Burrows (Formby), Regan Jackson (Gateshead Fell).
