Forecasters are predicting a sun-drenched day for Cumbria’s hottest music gig of the year.

Global dance music sensation Nathan Dawe, Brit nominees Toploader and chart topper Tinchy Sryder head to Barrow on Saturday, June 3 for the hotly anticipated Party on the Pitch.

They will be joined by a host of local performers for the event – which will be held at Barrow AFC’s SO Legal stadium and also includes a live screening of the FA Cup Final.

Tickets start from the bargain price of just £28, which includes full-day access. And there are a number of VIP options too.

Alisha Henry, chief operating officer at Barrow AFC said: “The one thing you can never control when it comes to an event is the weather – so we are pleased to see the hot spell we are enjoying at the moment will extend to our Party on the Pitch.

“Global stars, fantastic local artists, the FA Cup final, fully licensed bars and concession stands – what more could you want for a day out with family or friends?”

Nathan Dawe, who for the summer will play at the world-famous Ibiza Rocks, has amassed a number of hits in the last year.

Known for chart toppers including 21 Reasons with Ella Henderson and Lighter with KSI, he will kick the party off in style after local artists have performed.

Four-time Brit nominees Toploader will follow and chart-topping rapper Tinchy Stryder will take to the stage as the sun sets over Holker Street.

The enigmatic Pixel Kid is also set to perform.

Football fans will be able to catch a special screening of the FA Cup between Manchester United and Manchester City as the two teams go head-to-head in the final for the first time. Kick off is 3pm.

Concession stands will be open throughout the day to provide party-goers with food and drink.

The gates open at 2pm.

Standard entry tickets are £28. VIP tickets which include access to a VIP bar and toilets, the VIP circle by the stage and access to the after party VIP area are £45.

VIP-plus includes a meet and greet with the stars and is priced at £60. There is also a package for two tickets and overnight accommodation at £130.
