The Falls Spa garden

A Lake District luxury spa has won a major industry award – this time for its garden.

The Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa, in the Borrowdale Valley, was handed the accolade at the 2023 Good Spa Guide Awards.

Finalists were announced earlier in the year and the stunning Falls Spa was shortlisted for the accolade up against eight other scenic spa gardens across the UK.

Contenders for this category were selected on the exquisiteness of their outdoor garden spaces and after a rigorous voting campaign, the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa triumphed receiving an overwhelming number of votes.

Cara Thompson, spa manager, said: “I feel truly blessed to be able to work at such a beautiful spa destination and I am so pleased that our lovely hotel is getting the recognition it deserves.

“The setting is completely idyllic, and the spa garden has been specially designed to enhance our guests’ feelings of tranquillity from the moment they arrive, to the moment they leave. The garden truly is a sight to behold.”

The annual awards ceremony celebrates the finest spas and hotels across the UK, making it one of the nation’s most prestigious spa awards.

The Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa is part of the Lake District Hotels group.
