Ten teams took part in the climax of the 2023 Cumberland Ability Counts League with Cup Finals in four separate competitions.

Since the season began in April, almost 100 players across the three divisions have played regular fixtures at the central venue at Harraby 3G, Carlisle.

The atmosphere at the monthly fixtures has provided a fun and safe environment for the players and volunteers.

With three pitches showcasing the matches, there was plenty of quality football played throughout the evening to determine the eventual 2023 champions!

Cumberland FA would like to congratulate the champions who received their trophies and medals from Scott Henry, the Cumberland ACL Chairman.

They were: Premiership Cup Winners: Carlisle Spartans; Championship Cup Winners: Workington AFC Marras; Championship Trophy Winners: Whitehaven Warriors; Super League Cup Winners: Carlisle Reivers Lions.

In addition Carlisle Reivers Cheetahs were presented with the Values Shield for displaying the best conduct in relation to the League Values on the evening.
