Police want to return items believed to be stolen after a vehicle was stopped on the A595 near Carlisle last week.
Officers stopped the vehicle on August 10 at 3.31am and found a Forest Master wood chipper, HGV DAF batteries and a Sthil saw.
A 53-year-old man from Wigton was arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft, handling stolen goods, using a motor vehicle on the road without third party insurance and using a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate.
