Graham Anthony, forever linked with the Jimmy Glass goal that saved Carlisle United from relegation into non-League, was back at Brunton Park this week.
Anthony, now 48, was invited to talk on his United experiences, and also to take part in the half-time crossbar challenge.
The midfield schemer showed he had lost none of his accuracy as he struck the crossbar twice from his two attempts.
It was Anthony who took the corner against Plymouth Argyle from which Glass scored the vital last gasp goal in 1999 which kept United in League Two.
Last month Glass, a journeyman footballer who only played three games for Carlisle but became a United legend, was appointed general manager of Wimborne Town in the Southern League.
Anthony, who played briefly for Sheffield United, Scarborough (loan), Swindon and Plymouth ended his career by playing for the three senior clubs in Cumbria.
He made 69 appearances for Carlisle; then 245 at Barrow before ending his career at Workington where he played 65 times.
