A woman’s bag was stolen while she was in a Carlisle Greggs store.
The theft has had a significant impact on the victim, police said, as her bag contained many personal items, including pictures of her later husband.
Officers are now asking for people to help them with their investigation and have released CCTV images as part of their enquiries.
The theft happened on July 5 at around 11.30am in Greggs in The Lanes Shopping Centre.
The bag was on a stroller.
Police would like to speak to the two people pictured in CCTV images as part of this investigation.
Anyone who can identify those pictured are asked to contact police.
