A Carlisle man is set to appear at court charged him with kidnap and assault.
Andrezj Jasinski, 38, of Thomson Street, was charged by detectives yesterday, September 10.
He is remanded in custody ahead of appearing at North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court today, September 11.
The charges follow an investigation into an incident which occurred in the morning of September 9, in Thomson Street.
A spokesman for the police said: “Cumbria Constabulary would like to remind everyone that criminal proceedings are live. It is extremely important that there should be no reporting, comments or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice ongoing proceedings.”
