A man has been assaulted and robbed at a Carlisle taxi rank.
Police are investigating the incident which happened on Court Square on Thursday August 31 at around 9.30pm
The man, who was wearing black cargo shorts and a black polo t-shirt, was assaulted and left with a black-eye, grazed knee and bruised arm and his suitcase was stolen.
The suitcase is described as a large black suitcase with a red ribbon on the handle and contained electrical goods including an iPad and a large amount of clothing.
