Two Premier Division sides were in Benevolent Cup Round One action as Maryport Athletic beat Carlisle City Development 2-1 with goals from Ryan Porter and Darren Rule. City’s goal scorer was Tom Hickey.

Cockermouth’s 100 per cent record came to an end on Saturday in the Division One as they drew 2-2 with Keswick. Two goals from Alfie West had Keswick winning at half time however a own goal and a goal from Caine Winter preserved Cockermouth unbeaten run.
