In a remarkable finish Barrow scored twice in time added on to snatch a 2-2 draw at MK Dons.
The result mounted more pressure on Graham Alexander, the Dons manager, as he left the di-ug-out at the end, with the boos ringing in his ears.
His side have not won a League game since August but after 90 minutes, with a 2-0 lead, those overdue points seemed a certainty.
But not so as Ben Whitfield and Emile Acquah came up with goals in the 93rd and 95th minutes to stun the home crowd.
Although Barrow had started the brighter it was the hosts who took the lead on 12 minutes. Max Dean turned smartly on the edge of the box and with the help of a deflection his strike found the net.
Barrow forced the pace again and they went close on three occasions from Robbie Gotts, Dean Campbell and Ged Garner.
However it was the Dons, and Dean again, who scored when he reacted quickest to a smart doubled their advantage 10 minutes before the break when Dean reacted quickest to a reflex save by Paul Farman’s and headed home on 35 minutes.
Barrow started the second half well and Gotts and Elliot Newby came close to cutting the deficit but were thwarted.
Crucial to the result through were a series of misses by MK Dons, as if any had been taken they would have won the game.
They were made to pay when Whitfield pulled one back and two minutes later Acquah curled home a brilliant leveller in the fifth minute of stoppage time. The Dons wait for another League win drags on.
