New appeal after Lake District jewellers burglary

Police have issued a new appeal after a Lake District jewellers was burgled.

Officers said they were following new lines of enquiry and are appealing for witnesses into the burglary at Shipton & Co Jewellers, Lake Road, Keswick.

It happened at about 7.40am on September 11.

Officers are appealing for witnesses, and in particular a dog walker who was walking past the jewellers at the time of the incident and alerted a car dealership on the street of the ongoing burglary and requested for the police to be contacted.

The dog walker is described as an older white man who was wearing very bright clothing. He was walking a small dog.
