An emergency exercise will be taking place at Walney Aerodrome.
The exercise is scheduled to take place on Wednesday November 22 between 11am and 2pm.
Sirens may be audible from offsite but BAE Systems are aiming to keep disruption to a minimum.
Members of the public do not need to take any action.
The exercise is a regulatory requirement and will involve some external emergency services.
