Cockermouth have lost another key member of their attack ahead of the 2024 Cumbria League’s Premier Division season.
Cumbria county all-rounder Sam Sharp, 27, is leaving to join Kendal, the Northern League champions last season.
Blackpool-based county spinner Matthew Siddall had previously announced he was leaving after two years ton join a club nearer home, but has still not made an official decision.
Sharp (28) and Siddall (26) took 54 wickets between them for the Sandair side in 2023, finishing sixth and second respectively in the Premier Division averages.
Sharp, who hails from Threlkeld, had previously played for Keswick and since joining Cockermouth has earned a regular place in the county side.
