A free festive fun day will be held this weekend at Carlisle Market Hall.
On Saturday, November 25, between 11am and 3pm, youngsters can meet Santa, who has lots of children’s treats to give away. Santa will be joined by his friends Douglas and Tammi, stilt walker Mary the Faerie, Jason the juggling jester and face painter Silly Gilly.
People can do Christmas shopping while at the fun day – local market traders and pop-up stalls offer everything from clothing, jewellery and gifts to festive food, seasonal wreaths and flowers.
New traders include Reiver Reads, Victoria B Creations and Fabulous Clothing, Star Brow and Beauty, and El Pollo Loco.
