Police are appealing for information about a number of bicycle thefts from a Carlisle street.
The incidents happened in Merith Avenue. Last Thursday, November 16, a locked-up bike was taken from a front garden.
The same property was targeted again between 9pm on November 20 and 7.30am on November 21 – when two bikes were stolen after locks were cut.
At a different address a shed was entered and two bikes stolen.
If anyone has seen or is aware of anything suspicious or relevant – particularly seeing someone with multiple bicycles – they are asked to get in touch with police.
Anyone with information can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit – referring to log 26 of November 21 or call 101.
Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
