Properties across the Workington area are experiencing issues with their water.
People reported problems yesterday, Saturday November 25, with properties in Moorclose and Seaton having no water supply, and other areas experiencing low pressure.
The issue was reported at around 6am.
Engineers were on scene in the afternoon and United Utilities said they had managed to repair a number of bursts.
Today, Sunday, November 26, United Utilities said: We’re sorry if you’re still experiencing no water or poor pressure today. We are now tackling a burst on Princess Avenue.
“Please be assured our team are working as quickly they can to get this resolved. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience this is causing, please bear with us whilst we get this sorted.”
In the meantime, if people spot any water leaks, they are asked to call 0800 330 033.
