Planters in Barrow town centre have been tipped over and damaged.
Barrow police said they believed the vandalism on Portland Walk happened between 9pm and 10pm on Friday.
On their Facebook page, Barrow police said: “We are aware of some of the posting online regarding this incident from the local community and Barrow Police are asking those who have any photographs or video recordings of the incident or who have seen those responsible to come forward.
“We have a zero tolerance approach for this sort of behaviour and will pursue those responsible.”
