Albert Hayton of the Flimby Homing Society came out top again in the latest Workington Victoria Show.

Last week he entered the winner of the old hens class and last night he topped a class of young cocks.

Cleator Moor duo Brian Fitzsimmons and Jackie Dobson judged 77 birds and they gave tickets as follows: 1, A. Hayton; 2, 7, 8, Bromley and co; 3, N. Semple; 4, 5, McLuckie bros; 6, A. Edgar.

Winner of young cocks in Workington Victoria as Albert Hayton completed a double.

There were specials from the judges, as well as Ian McGarr and Northern Trophies.

Next week’s show in the Union Jack (judging 7.30pm) will be for young hens.
