The Cumbria Combine is the latest organisation to award their end-of-season awards to successful fanciers.
A total of 27 lofts from the four Federations – Derwent Valley, West Cumberland, East Cumberland and Furness – shared in the prize list.
The top eight prize winners were: Peter Kirkwood, Carlisle – 107.5 points; A. and K. Young, Millom – 90 points; Fullard, Murning and Coward, Millom – 50 points and Combine best average from three Guernsey races; I. and D. Wood, Harrington – 45 points; McLuckie bros, Workington – 30 points; Nelson and Crellin, Flimby – 30 points; R. Hodgson, Flimby – 30 points; A. Graham and co, Cleator Moor – 27.5 points.
The seven winners in the Combine races were: Marlborough 1, J. Walker, Askam; Guernsey 1, Tinnion, Aitken and McGarr, Flimby; Yeovil, J. Devlin, Harrington; Guernsey 2, A. and K. Young, Millom; Marlborough 2, P. Kirkwood, Carlisle; Guernsey 3, A. and K. Young, Millom and Cheltenham YB, Wilson, son and Johnston, Workington.
