Police are investigating after large stones were found on a Barrow road on December 26 and December 27.
Officers said they were aware of an incident on Park Road where a car suffered damage after being in collision with a large stone.
Cumbria police added: “Nobody has been hurt but police are investigating the circumstances to see how the debris came to be on the road and are asking drivers to take extra care in this area, particularly at night.”
