Riders registered for the 2024 British Youth Championship will have the opportunity to take part in a three-day training camp at Workington prior to the start of the new season.

The Young Lions have teamed up with the Northside club to arrange the camp which starts on Monday February 19.

British Youth chief Neil Vatcher said: “There will be track days on the Monday and Wednesday, and the Tuesday will involve fitness sessions at a local gym in the morning, then nutrition and mechanical classroom sessions in the afternoon.

“At all three days we will have qualified coaches and experts taking the classes, with the names being confirmed early in January.”

Numbers will be limited, but riders who would like to attend are asked to email [email protected]

Riders are asked to await confirmation of their attendance prior to making any arrangements,

The Young Lions also thanked their British Youth Sponsors, which enables this event to take place: Nuneaton Speedway Supporters Club, Wessex Marine, Brian Royle Racing, AGF Plant, Friends of Speedway, Foxbury Motors, Gordon Pairman, Rentruck, Ignite Insurance, Northern Scaffolding Solutions and In Memory of Speedway Nut.
