A man has been seriously injured in an assault which took place in a South Cumbrian town.
The incident happened on Market Street, Ulverston between midnight and 12.30am on Saturday December 23.
A man in his 20s, of Ulverston, sustained serious injuries which required hospital treatment.
Police are appealing for anyone who have may have witnessed the assault or have any information about this assault to come forward.
