Whitehaven have released their shirt numbers for the 2024 Championship season – with tantalising news about an absent number.
At the moment the number 16 shirt has been omitted with potentially further news to come regarding this.
Haven are also awaiting confirmation that their latest signing has been approved by the RFL so Dalton Desmond-Walker does not yet have a confirmed squad number.
The numbers were released at a function last night, a pre-season launch, with Haven preparing to play their first warm-up game at Widnes this afternoon.
Then it will be into more serious stuff – the annual Ike Southard Memorial Trophy game at the Fibrus Community Stadium against neighbours and fierce rivals Workington Town.
