Workington Town have postponed this weekend’s game due to Storm Isha.
The side was due to face Whitehaven in the Ike Southward Memorial Trophy at the Fibrus Community Stadium tomorrow, Sunday.
However, Workington Town has released a statement saying: “The safety of our spectators and players is paramount. Transport infrastructure disruption is highly likely for those travelling to the ground.
“We have therefore taken the early decision to postpone the game.”
It added more details about the re-arranged date will be issued soon, including information for people who have bought tickets.
